Ecuador experienced an administrative and social crisis, when public officials and their acquaintances anticipated the vaccination plan against Covid-19, while the high death rates continued to increase and elderly people such as frontline staff still could not access the vaccines. Thisfact generated citizen discomfort,so the digital newspaper La Posta took the coverage to social networks. In his Twitter posts, he framed the news with the hashtags #VacunadosVip and #VacunadosGold. In thissense, it isintended to explain the application of the framing theory during the months of January and March. An exploratory qualitative study was applied, starting with content analysis in its different publications to identify the types of frames that were used; the dominant frames and which frames generated the most interaction. Also, an interview was conducted with media personnel where they explained the intention when dealing with the treatment of news in this social network. Finally, these results were triangulated with the results of the content analysis and it was possible to demonstrate that the human-interest frame was the one that generated the most interaction, while the responsibility frame was the most used by La Posta.
