Abstract

Uno de los aspectos que de manera común se presentan en la toma de decisiones que tienen que ver con el territorio, se refiere al desconocimiento –casi siempre total de la ubicación exacta de sus recursos, este el caso de las instituciones financieras, bancarias y no bancarias, que brindan el servicio de transferencia de remesas en el estado de Tlaxcala a familiares de migrantes. De esta manera los usuarios de dichas instituciones desconocen no sólo cuál es el sitio más cercano a su domicilio si no también cuáles de ellas les ofrecen el mejor servicio, por lo que conocer la localización y las tarifas de cada una de ellas resulta indispensable para contribuir a la mejor decisión respecto a las opciones que se les brinden, aminorando la escasez de información en este sentido y optimizar el recurso recibido. De ahí que se plantee el objetivo central de este trabajo, que es la georreferenciación espacial de las instituciones financieras en el estado de Tlaxcala, así como el análisis de las ventajas y desventajas que ofrecen a las familias de los migrantes que laboran en Estados Unidos.One of the aspects that commonly arise in decision-making that has to do with the territory, refers to the lack of knowledge - almost always total - of the exact location of its resources, this is the case of financial, banking and non-financial institutions. banks, which provide remittance transfer services in the state of Tlaxcala to relatives of migrants. Hence, the central objective of this work is raised, which is the spatial georeferencing of financial institutions in the state of Tlaxcala, as well as the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages they offer to the families of migrants who work in the United States.
