dc.description.abstractEl autor describe una nueva especie de isópodo terrestre de las cavernas de Cuba (Trichorhina heterophthalma) y resume los representantes cavernícolas del género Porcellio pearsei, se considera miembro del género Trichorhina y se cree que T. yucatanensis es un sinónimo de T. pearsei. The author describes a new species of cave terrestrial isopod from Cuba (Trichorhina heterophthalma) and summarizes the cave-inhabiting representatives of the genus Porcellio pearsei, is regarded as a member of the genus Trichorhina and. T. yucatanensis is thought to be a synonym of T. pearsei.
