dc.description.abstractSe describe una nueva especie de madera de violín de la familia Verbenaceae, detectada por A.·BoRHIDI en el Macizo del Escambray de Cuba Central. La especie está dedicada al honor del destacado botánico húngaro, académico prof. lmre MÁTHÉ con el nombre de Citharexylum matheanum sp. norte. con motivo de su 70 cumpleaños. A new fiddle-wood species from the family Verbenaceae, detecte1Í.by A.·BoRHIDI in the Escambray Massiv of Central Cuba is described. The species is dedicated to the honour of the outstanding Hungarian botanist, academician prof. lmre MÁTHÉ by the name of Citharexylum matheanum sp. n. in occasion of his 70th birthday. (sic)
