Reflexiones desde la investigación socio - educativa en contextos de exclusión.

Abstract

El presente documento, es una compilación que surge a partir de un grupo de investigación relacionado con el Programa de Educación y Contextos Socioculturales del Instituto de Investigación en Educación (INIE) de la Universidad de Costa Rica. La mayoría de los trabajos corresponden a personas investigadoras que integran el Programa, aunque también se cuenta con algunas otras que fueron invitadas a participar. Como lección aprendida se reconoce la fuerza que tiene el poner en común, para así lograr la reflexión y el análisis sobre la labor que se realiza. El Programa, por su parte, surge en el INIE en el marco de una política de apoyo a la investigación, con el interés de consolidar temáticas consideradas de importancia educativa. En particular, aglutina la experiencia de dos Programas: Educación y Género y Educación y Cultura, cuya herencia le impregna la posibilidad de realizar indagaciones en contextos particulares y plurales. Es así como a lo largo del texto se nos presentan temáticas que a nivel conceptual están atravesadas por coordenadas interdisciplinarias y, de manera general, muestran diferentes caras de las dinámicas de la exclusión y la violencia, que son interceptadas desde lo socio-educativo. El Programa contiene investigaciones que responden a escenarios y poblaciones diversas, ya que se parte de la concepción de que la educación está imbricada directamente con la cultura, la cual se realiza y consolida tanto en la(s) práctica(s) social(es) y en los espacios escolares institucionalizados, como en la vida cotidiana. Cada documento aporta una mirada particular sobre la situación o las situaciones que se enfocan y muestran parte del accionar socio-educativo.

ABSTRACT: This document is a compilation that arises from a research group related to the Education and Sociocultural Contexts Program of the Research Institute in Education (INIE for it acronym in Spanish) of the University of Costa Rica. The majority of work corresponds to researchers who are part of the Program; although, there are also a few others who were invited to participate. As a lesson learned, it is acknowledged the strength that takes place to find the commonalities in order to accomplish a reflection and analysis on the work being done. The Program, on the other hand, originated in the INIE in the framework of a policy of supporting research with the interest to consolidate themes considered of educational importance. In particular, it encompasses the experience of two Programs: Education and Gender, and Education and Culture, whose heritage pervades the possibility of conducting inquiries in specific and plural contexts. This is how throughout the text we are presented with themes that at the conceptual level are crossed by interdisciplinary references, and overall show different perspectives of the dynamics of exclusion and violence that are intercepted from the socio-educational area. The Program includes research that answers to diverse scenarios and populations as it is based on concept that education is directly overlapping with culture, which is carried out and consolidated both in social practices and in institutionalized school areas such as everyday life. Each document gives a particular glimpse at the situation or situations that focus and show part of the socio-educational trigger.
