dc.description.abstractThis following project shows as its main goal the development of a manual of procedures that alllows document the main procedures of Supermercados San Miguel in order to contribute with the increasing of the efficiency and effectiveness of the tasks carried out and the way in which customer service is provided. In addition, an organization manual that summarizes important information about the company and its main aspects. Regarding the research method, the present work is characterized as a qualitative study with a research-action type design, descriptive and with transverse temporality. Through this method it was possible to document 13 of 22 procedures initially established, due to setbacks in terms of gathering the information necessary for the development of the product, so that it was decided to integrate an organization manual to extend the presented work. Both the procedures’ manual and the organization manual are going to be of great importance to improve the way in which the activities of Supermercados San Miguel are developed and its business development as well.
