Abstract

La ideología cristiana define la jerarquía de género a favor del hombre, quien se convierte en la cabeza y la mujer en su dependiente. Principios bíblicos que sirven de respaldo a la doctrina eclesiástica, de apoyo a la familia patriarcal emanada del Génesis, que definen el papel de providente del hombre, y sienta las bases de poder y autoridad de parte del hombre, y de obediencia y sumisión por parte de la mujer. Esa desigualdad de papeles se presta a que el hombre abuse. Presenta un caso de la señora Juana Castro, quien menciona que las leyes eclesiásticas han contribuido a profundizar y a agravar la disparidad.

The Christian ideology defines the gender hierarchy in favor of the man, who becomes the head and the woman his dependent. Biblical principles that support ecclesiastical doctrine, support the patriarchal family emanated from Genesis, which define the provident role of man, and lay the foundations of power and authority on the part of man, and of obedience and submission on the part of the woman. This inequality of roles is open to man abuse. It presents a case of Mrs. Juana Castro, who mentions that ecclesiastical laws have contributed to deepening and aggravating the disparity.
