A review is presented of recent multi-way calibration protocols involving three-, four- andfive-way data. A brief description of the various data structures and processing models isshown, with emphasis on model selection based on the matching between the data structureand the physicochemical model assumptions. Calibration research works are then discussed, classified according to the type of measured instrumental data and model/algorithm selection.
