dc.description.abstractTestis of Odontesthes smitti and O. nigricans, included among the spermatogonial restricted type, are described for the first time. Particularly, O. nigricans has an unusual testicular morphology with numerous lobes, that increase their surface and their capacity to produce spermatogonia.
