Cuerpos muertos, violencia y sacrificio : diferentes sentidos en el marco de la Guerra de Malvinas

Abstract

Este trabajo es un avance de un proyecto en curso que se pregunta por la forma en que los familiares y ex combatientes de la Guerra de Malvinas le dan sentido a las prácticas ejercidas sobre los cuerpos de los muertos en la Guerra (violencia física, tipo de muerte, inhumación, exhumación, identificación). Desde una primera aproximación, aquí propongo trabajar sobre las relaciones construidas entre vivos y muertos, y sobre los sentidos dados a la violencia y el sacrificio, como claves para poder entender los significados dados a los cuerpos muertos.

This piece offers initial finding of an ongoing project that investigates the way in which relatives and veterans of the Malvinas War give meaning to the practices carried out on the bodies of those killed in the war considering questions such as physical violence, type of death, burial, exhumation, identification). From that vantage, I intend to work on the relationships built between the living and the dead and the different interpretations given to violence and sacrifice. I argue that they are a type of key-stone that offers understanding regarding the meanings given to the dead bodies.
