| dc.description | Mediante el método que se describe se ha logrado reproducir el ciclo biológico de <i>Fasciola hepática</i> utilizando caracoles Limnea viator D'Orbigny criados en laboratorio y en cobayos. Dicho ciclo se cumplió en los siguientes lapsos: a temperatura de laboratorio, ciclo de huevo a huevo, 150 días; ciclo en hospedador intermediario, en estufa a temperatura de 20ºC (-+2ºC) 50 días. Se confirma que Limmea viator D'Orbigny se comporta como hospedador intermediario de Fasciola hepática en la República Argentina. | |
| dc.description | By means of the method described it has been possible to reproduce the biological cycle of <i>Fasciola hepatica</i> using Limnea viator D'Orbigny snails raised In laboratory and guinea pigs. Said cycle was completed in the following time lapses: at laboratory temperature egg to egg cycle, 150 days; cycle at the intermediate host, in incubator at 20ºC (+- 2ºC) 50 days. It 15 confirmed that Limnea viator D'Orbigny behaves as an intermediate host of Fasciola hepatica in the Argentine Republic. | |
