| dc.description | Se presentan y discuten las propiedades esenciales de sales y complejos de hierro utilizados para el tratamiento de anemias, así como el uso de ciertos ligandos quelantes para revertir y controlar la acumulación de excesos patológicos del metal. Asimismo, se comenta brevemente la actividad antitumoral de ciertos complejos organometálicos de hierro y la probable participación del mismo en el mecanismo de acción de las bleomicinas. | |

The antitumoral activity of certain organometallic iron complexes as well as the probable participation of this metal in the mechanisms of action of bleomycins are also briefly discussed. | |
