<p>Health is one of the factors helps to explain quality of life residents in a country in development speaking, because the health of each person influence the his productivity through the working capacity, also the health determines the whole economy income and personal income. Since the last and current healthcare system reform was stablished, the law 100 of 1993, there has been an significant improvement in coverage however the gasp in the quality of health care service are still persisting. This project makes an overview of the overcome goals through the new institutional economics theory and links with the real way that the health care is delivery to the Colombian people showing the current system weaknesses that have not been detected even for the organizations in charge of the health care although the institutional design contemplate it. The current paper propose to eliminate the asymmetries in information in all healthcare system although the design contemplates institutionalkey words: Quality, healthcare service provided, institutions, organizations .</p>
