| dc.description | <p>En el desarrollo del presente trabajo de grado se estableció un sistema productivo de lulo (solanum quitoense lam.) ¨tecnificado¨ buscando ser un sistema alternativo de agronegocio y diversificación en la vereda Zarandas municipio de Vélez Santander. Con el objetivo de dar a conocer a agricultores alternativas que ayuden a mejorar las producciones agrícolas de lulo y otros cultivos. Durante el tiempo de ejecución se cosecharon 1.750 kg y se esperan cosechar alrededor de 9.000 Kg de fruta al culminar el ciclo productivo. Simultáneamente se ejecutó una evaluación de diagnóstico de sustentabilidad en tres agroecosistemas de producción de lulo, buscando conocer el estado actual de los sistemas y orientar a los productores en la búsqueda de sistemas sustentables, en el estudio se evidenció que lo tres agroecosistemas de lulo no presentan altos niveles en los índices de sostenibilidad, pues el presente estudio encontró debilidades y escenarios susceptibles de mejoramiento, que de ser atendidos, optimizarían los niveles de sostenibilidad de los agroecosistemas. Además, este estudio de diagnóstico evidenciar que los agricultores de los agroecosistemas seleccionados, se perciben, comprometidos con la implementación de prácticas agroecológicas que aportan a la sostenibilidad de sus procesos. Se logró obtener información que puede ser utilizada para nuevos proyectos que vayan enfocados en el apoyo a la agricultura sustentable en la región. A lo mencionado anteriormente, se suman las experiencias con productores y campesinos del municipio, relacionados con el cuidado y manejo de los cultivos agrícolas las prácticas de manejo dentro de los sistemas productivos. Adicional del voluntariado social en el colegio agrícola de Alto Jordán con estudiantes de décimo y undécimo grado dando capacitaciones en manejo de cultivos agrícolas, y formulación de proyectos. | dc.description | In the development of this undergraduate project, a productive system of lulo (solanum quitoense lam.) "technified" was established, seeking to be an alternative system of agribusiness and diversification in the Zarandas district of the municipality of Vélez Santander. Aiming to introduce farmers to alternatives that help improve agricultural production of lulo and other crops. During the execution time, 1,750 kg were harvested and around 9,000 kg of fruit were harvested and are expected to be harvested at the end of the production cycle. Simultaneously, a sustainability diagnostic evaluation was carried out in three agroecosystems of lulo production, seeking to know the current state of the systems and guide producers in the search for sustainable systems. The study showed that the three lulo agroecosystems do not present high levels of sustainability indices, as the present study found weaknesses and scenarios that could be improved, which, if addressed, would optimize the sustainability levels of agroecosystems. Additionally, this diagnostic study showed that farmers in the selected agroecosystems perceive themselves as committed to the implementation of agroecological practices that contribute to the sustainability of their processes. Information was obtained that can be used for new projects that are focused on supporting sustainable agriculture in the region. In addition to the aforementioned, experiences with producers and peasants of the municipality, related to the care and management of agricultural crops, management practices within production systems are added.
