| dc.description | <p>Se evaluó el comportamiento reproductivo de 36 reproductores de arawana plateada (de la Estación Piscícola La Terraza (Villavicencio – Meta) alimentadas con tres diferentes dietas. Se utilizaron dos tipos de aceite, uno de origen animal (aceite de vísceras de tilapia) y otro de origen vegetal (aceite de palma africana) y la mezcla al 50% de cada uno de estos. Las dietas se administraron ad libitum diariamente durante 28 semanas, se midió el consumo de esta y se realizó observación etológica de comportamientos relacionados con el cortejo para así cuantificar la actividad reproductiva de la especie. No se logró la reproducción en ninguno de los tratamientos, sin embargo se dilucidó el efecto deletéreo de los ácidos grasos de origen vegetal sobre el hígado de la especie. Es necesaria la adición de vitamina C en las dietas para reducir el efecto de los radicales libres a nivel hepático, pues la especie carece de la capacidad para sintetizarla.</p> | |
| dc.description | We evaluate the behaviour of 36 breeding of silver arowana of fish hatchery La Terraza (Villavicencio – Meta) fed with three different diets. Two type of oils use, one of animal origin (Entrails of tilapia) and ones vegetal origin (African palm) and the mixture of 50% of both them. The diets administered ad libitum every day for 28 weeks, we measure the consumption of this one and made ethological observation of behaviours related with the courtship, to quantify the reproductive activity of the species. One could not achieve the reproduction in any of the treatments, nevertheless explain the deleterious effect of the oil acids of vegetable origin on the liver of the specie. The addition of vitamin C is necessary in the diet , to reduce the eff ect of the free radicals ones to hepatic level, since the species lacks the aptitude to synthesize it. | |
