dc.description<p>Este proyecto analiza el desempeño de los eslabones logísticos del sector carbonífero en Colombia, el cual presenta problemáticas estructurales que limitan la ventaja competitiva del país. Sin embargo, Colombia por medio de la Política Nacional Logística ha organizado mecanismos para cumplir con los desafíos logísticos internos necesarios para competir en el mercado global. En esta lógica, el objetivo de la presente investigación es comparar la cadena de suministros y la logística de la industria carbonífera del país con respecto a Indonesia debido que este es el segundo mayor exportador a nivel mundial, con un modelo exportador sostenible para su economía. Mientras Colombia ocupa el 4° lugar exportando y produciendo el mismo tipo de carbón y con una gran capacidad del mineral en sus reservas. Con el fin de brindar los elementos necesarios para responder a la pregunta de investigación la metodología tendrá un enfoque investigativo mixto, es decir, el primer objetivo tendrá un método cualitativo y la estrategia a implementar será el estudio de caso para describir el perfil logístico. En el siguiente, se empleará un método cuantitativo, cuya estrategia será explicativa para comparar la productividad, competitividad de la industria. Por último, se usará un método cualitativo con estudio de caso como estrategia con el fin de recomendar soluciones que contribuirán a mejores niveles de competitividad.</p>
dc.descriptionThis project analyzes the performance of the supply chain of the coal-bearing sector in Colombia, which has problems in its structure that limit the competitive advantage of the country. Nevertheless, Colombia by means of the Logistic National Politics has tried to generate mechanisms to expire with the logistic challenges necessary boarders to compete on the global market. In this logic, the aim of the present investigation is to compare the supply chain and the logistics of the coal-bearing industry of the country with regard to Indonesia that is the second exporting major one worldwide, while Colombia occupies 4 ° place exporting and producing the same type of coal. In order to offer the necessary elements to answer to the question of investigation the methodology will have an approach investigative mixed, that is to say, the first aim will have a qualitative method and the strategy to support it will be the study of case, that is for describe the logistic profile. In the following one, there will be used a quantitative method, which has an explanatory strategy that will be to compare the productivity, competitiveness of the industry.
