| dc.description | The treatment of domestic wastewater, in recent years it has been a priority for companies in the public and private sectors, in order to maximize a nonrenewable resource such as the water and meet the requirements demanded by environmental regulations existing. According to records of the plant for treating domestic wastewater in Guaymaral, this presented an optimal performance during the first years of operation, reflected in high pollutant removal efficiencies of health interest. At the beginning of 2014 began to observe flaws in the way how the plant which resulted in lower pollutant removal efficiencies are operated. This situation justifies the diagnosis and subsequent implementation of improvements in the operation and maintenance system treatment plant located in Guaymaral. The current project was conducted in several stages, in order to optimize the operation of the treatment plant, observing their efficiency in removing contaminants and out of BOD5, COD, TSS parameters, among others. To achieve the different types WWTP improvements red fox different characterizations and physicochemical analysis of domestic wastewater were performed. Sizing of plant units and lifting the plans was made. Operational details and specifications of equipment and units were identified. Besides manual operation was to train personnel performing activities on the ground in order that this be operated properly. | |
