| dc.description | <p>Colombia ha sufrido en los últimos años una fuerte devaluación en su moneda, lo que conlleva a grandes impactos en su industria de producción, así como también en su balanza comercial; para poder entender estos efectos la teoría de Marshall Lerner junto con la curva j muestra cómo puede reaccionar una economía frente a cambios en su moneda local. Por consiguiente, esta monografía fue realizada con la finalidad de saber si la condición Marshall Lerner junto con la curva J se cumplen en Colombia, específicamente en el subsector de alimentos y el producto azúcar en el periodo 2001 - 2017. Para ello, se realizó una investigación experimental, con un estudio cuantitativo de tipo econométrico. Elaborando dos modelos gráficos autoregresivos VAR, por medio de la recolección de datos pertinentes para el desarrollo de la investigación.</p> | |
| dc.description | Colombia has suffered in the last years a significant devaluation in the currency, taking large impacts in their production industry, as well as their trade balance; in order to understand these effects, the Marshall Lerner theory along with J-curve show as the reaction of an economy faced with changes of their local currency. Therefore, this monograph carried out with the purpose to know if the Marshall Lerner condition along with the J-curve applies to Colombia case, specifically in the food and beverage subsector and the sugar product in the period 2001-2017. In order to this, it is realized an experimental research, with a quantitative research of econometric type. It was prepared two auto-regression vector models by the data collection appropriate for research developing. In line with the analysis it was possible the individual evaluation of the variables, observing the tendency of deficit in the trade balance in the country, with a high imports compared to the exports, this leads to the non-compliance of the condition in Colombia | |
