dc.descriptionEste artículo es el producto reflexivo de dos frentes. En primer lugar, de un curso electivo desarrollado en los años 2007 y 2008 en la Facultad de Educación de la Universidad de La Salle. En segundo lugar, de una investigación independiente sobre la Santafé de Bogotá de los siglos XVIII y XIX vista por los viajeros extranjeros. El artículo tiene el propósito de comprender y leer la ciudad de Bogotá a partir de sus tríadas mediante un viaje por el triángulo imaginario de la ciudad. El recorrido se hará por los barrios antiguos de San Victorino, las Cruces y San Diego a través del material iconográfico disponible de la época. El pretexto de este viaje está en visibilizar los signos y los símbolos de una Santafé de Bogotá que fue construida con imaginarios triádicos, tanto conscientes como inconscientes, muy diferentes de la visión de la ciudad actual.
