| dc.description | This research on the archive's sector in Colombia allows the comprehension of real needs in public and private archives, and in all fields of information sciences, as well as the needs of the market and the educational trends in this field. It also shows differences between educational level in big an medium size cities, where there is a concentration of formal education in the archive field, whereas non formal education predominates in small cities. In addition, the study found several differences in the training and education received by those working in the archives. | |
