dc.descriptionThe development of a clinical case of a male dog of mixed breed, approximately nine years of age with a weight of 9 kg described. Physical examination an apoplectic animal is observed in good body condition, with some alopecia areas targeted in the thoracic region, bilaterally with claudication of the right forelimb (MAD), where union of their phalanges and the most relevant was found was the perianal presence of a cauliflower-shaped mass; then additional tests such as complete blood count, which reported, regenerative hypochromic normocytic anemia, thrombocytopenia, leukopenia and lymphopenia uncontrolled inflammatory process are carried out; in the examination of blood chemistry, ALT within normal parameters and slightly decreased creatinine was found. Starting from this basis, a treatment for skin problems, where after a week were euthanized with the owner's consent when the autopsy was performed the tumor mass for shipment to test histopathology was extirpated was established which resulted carcinoma hepatoid and immunohistochemistry for accuracy of tumor, where the result suggested highly aggressive amelanotic melanoma.
