Searching a sustainable scenario in Bogota's mobility, the electric bicycle is ahead in average speed of travel compared to the conventional one, especially in rush hour, and if the route does not exceed 5km. This modal option offers better average travel speed than public transport because the greater rush-hour traffic outstrips the speed of the bicycle, and that advantage makes that use electric bicycle be more significant if the routes are relatively short.
