| dc.description | Zapatismo has recreated the horizon of critical thinking and the struggle of the antisystemic social movements of Latin America and other regions of the world. Among the contributions to revolutionary theory and practice stand out a vision about power from a radical conception of the forms of resistance and rebellion against capitalism, and the need to redirect the development of productive forces within an alternative modernity. Both slopes are inscribed in the attempt to build popular power, confront the bourgeois state and shape an alternative social order. Entre los aportes a la teoría y la práctica revolucionarias sobresalen una visión acerca del poder desde una concepción radical de las formas de resistencia y rebeldía frente al capitalismo, y la necesidad de reencauzar el desarrollo de las fuerzas productivas dentro de una modernidad alternativa.
