n the chemical industry scenario, there is a high complexity in identifying competitive advantages for each company and, from that, defining the best sales strategy. This is due to the diversification of the sector, since there are subdivisions into smaller areas with specific characteristics. In view of this, it is important to analyze a set of definitions of these subdivisions and the practices used in the scenario that most collaborate with the development of an industry, thus understanding the entire sales strategy for each type of business, considering its particularities. and market trends. The objective of this work was to define the main sales strategies of the industry through a bibliographic review of materials related to the theme, with a critical, analytical and exploratory reading, under a qualitative approach of the selected materials. The starting point was the identification of different sectors within the chemical industry and their characteristics, making a survey of the main competitors of each one. From this, industry
practices related to the implementation of improvements in the points highlighted as competitive advantages were raised and, finally, the main sales channels used by the chemical industry were raised.
