With the measures of distancing the COVID-19 pandemic, the telework model was adopted by companies, generating economic, sociological and psychological impacts in a different way for each population group, such as for women. The aim of the case study was to investigate the impacts generated by teleworking on the mental workload of consumer goods companies’ female administrative workers. To carry out this study, the ten women were interviewed with a pre-structured script, which covered economic, sociological and psychological impacts. An analysis of the union of the workspace with the home space enabled a holistic investigation of the impacts on the workers’ mental load, as well as on their routines, work environment, and family relationships. Positive impacts were noted, such as reduced commuting time, productivity and quality of life, and impacts such as lack of social contact, increased workload and reconciliation of personal and family tasks. It is concluded that women have great mental overload during the implementation of telework regret, mainly due to the increased workload and the reconciliation of work with home and/or family. For the future, most of the interviews proposed that a hybrid work model be established and that the companies' support be more coherent with the situation.
