Despite the enormous challenges posed to public and private institutions with regard to the application of accessibility norms and guidelines, nationally implemented and disseminated it is necessary to emphasize that there is ample research effort on the part of national and international teaching and research institutions international, in order to offer solutions that harmonize the confrontation of these challenges and the safeguarding of historical memories and the heritage of the communities. At the end of this work, it was concluded that accessibility for all is supported by a broad concept in Brazilian legislation, which seeks greater inclusion, giving an opportunity to participate in tourism, however, a large part of the laws are ignored or unknown from society, municipal administration and also by people with reduced mobility.
