dc.description.abstractPredictive processing seems like a radical departure from traditional theories of information processing in the brain, but a broader view of predictions highlights many similarities with standard frameworks. Predictive processing is memory and competitive bias in a new outlook—and we should use this correspondence to advance research on both fronts.
