| dc.description | A nossa pesquisa aborda a possibilidade de aplicar o reuso de ideias na metodologia Design Thinking Canvas – DTC, com o intuito de avaliar se esse tipo de intervenção pode impactar positivamente a qualidade das ideias geradas. A justificativa de explorar esse tema veio do interesse na evolução das metodologias de Design para contextos mais atuais, fazendo o intercâmbio com outras áreas de conhecimento. Além disso, existe uma lacuna nos trabalhos acadêmicos pesquisados sobre a aplicação direta do reuso na metodologia DTC, a despeito da contemporaneidade dos recursos utilizados em sua prática. Por fim, identificou-se que, na etapa de ideação da metodologia, um banco de ideias considerável é gerado e há um desperdício desses ativos, com as ideias sendo descartadas e não aproveitadas em momentos posteriores. Foram desenvolvidos dois estudos para avaliar essa intervenção: o primeiro estudo avalia os aspectos internos da dinâmica de ideação entre dois grupos distintos – um que sofre a influência do reuso e um outro que não – e a sua repercussão junto aos participantes. O segundo estudo seleciona as ideias melhores pontuadas pelos grupos e as submete à avaliação de um grupo de especialistas sob critérios definidos pelo pesquisador que remetem à qualidade das ideias geradas. Os resultados demonstraram que não houve uma diferença estatisticamente comprovada entre a qualidade das ideias geradas por ambos os grupos. O achado mais significativo desse estudo reside que não houve um decréscimo de qualidade nas ideias geradas pelo grupo que fez uso do reuso. Dessa forma, podemos assumir que, para a metodologia DTC, o reuso de ideias pode trazer benefícios relacionados à economia de recursos e à melhoria da produtividade das equipes sem comprometer a qualidade do produto gerado. Tais benefícios, aliás, são comprovadamente notadas em outras áreas de conhecimento além do Design. | |
| dc.description | Our research deals with the possibility of applying the reuse of ideas while using the methodology Design Thinking Canvas - DTC, in order to evaluate if this type of intervention can positively impact the quality of the ideas generated. The justification for exploring this theme came from the interest in the evolution of Design methodologies to more current contexts, particularly focusing on the exchange with other areas of knowledge. In addition, we identified an academic gap related to the reuse of previously drafted ideas and concepts while using the DTC methodology, regardless of the practice’s foundation on contemporary resources. Finally and perhaps most importantly, it was identified that in the stage of ideation of the methodology, a considerable asset of ideas is generated and most of these ideas are simply discarded and not used in later moments. Two studies were developed to evaluate this intervention: the first study evaluates the internal aspects of the dynamics of ideation between two distinct groups - one that is influenced by reuse and the other one that is not - and its repercussion among the participants. The second study selects the best ideas punctuated by the groups and submits them for the evaluation of a group of experts under some criteria defined by the researcher that refer to the quality of the ideas generated. The results showed that there was no statistically significant difference between the quality of the ideas generated by both groups. The most significant finding of this research is that there was no decrease in the quality of ideas generated by the group that reused ideas cards. Thus, we can assume that the reuse of ideas can bring benefits to the DTC methodology that are related to resource saving and improving the productivity of teams without compromising the quality of the product generated. It is relevant to add that the benefits of reuse have been notoriously observed in several other areas of knowledge beyond Design. | |
