| dc.description | Esta pesquisa analisa, por meio de uma perspectiva construtivista da realidade, como alguns aspectos da região do Cariri cearense são representados pelo telejornalismo regional. Com base na teoria das representações sociais e nas teorias do jornalismo, procuramos identificar como se dá a construção de algumas destas representações sociais por dois telejornais produzidos por emissoras regionais, a partir da proposição de cinco categorias representacionais. Entendemos que o telejornalismo participa ativamente do processo de construção da realidade social em uma sociedade, produzindo impacto direto na vida das pessoas que os assistem. Consequentemente, acreditamos que as produções telejornalísticas de abrangência regional ou local são objetos de estudo relevantes nas pesquisas em jornalismo, tendo em vista o recente processo de interiorização da economia no país e as estratégias de representação que estes veículos elaboram cotidianamente sobre as regiões em que estão inseridos. Na Região Metropolitana do Cariri existem atualmente duas emissoras de televisão em funcionamento: a TV Verde Vale e a TV Verdes Mares Cariri. Ambas afirmam produzir telejornais sob a perspectiva da relevância regional. Através de uma análise de conteúdo predominantemente qualitativa, buscamos compreender como esta região vem sendo representada pelos telejornais regionais Verde Vale Notícias e CE TV 1ª Edição. Dentro deste contexto, consideramos também ser possível identificar pistas de como eles contribuem para a construção social da realidade da região diariamente. | |

| dc.description | This research analyzes, through a constructivist perspective of reality, how some aspects of the Cariri region of Ceará are represented by regional telejournalism. Based on the theory of social representations and the theories of journalism, we try to identify how the construction of some of these social representations by two television newscasts produced by regional broadcasters, from the proposition of five representational categories. We understand that television journalism actively participates in the process of building social reality in a society, producing direct impact on the lives of the people who watch them. Consequently, we believe that regional and local television news productions are relevant objects of study in journalism research, due to the recent process of internalization of the economy in the country and the strategies of representation that these vehicles elaborate daily on the regions where they are inserted. In the Metropolitan Region of Cariri there are currently two television stations in operation: TV Verde Vale and TV Verdes Mares Cariri. Both claim to produce television news programs from the perspective of regional relevance. Through an analysis of predominantly qualitative content, we seek to understand how this region has been represented by the regional news channels Verde Vale Notícias and CE TV 1ª Edição. Within this context, we also consider it possible to identify clues as to how they contribute to the social construction of the region's daily reality. | |
