dc.description | In order to account for subjectivities, photography is a way of expression, in which, at any moment, problems are reconfigured in society. The photographic practice transgresses creative labels, tying tools and multiple ways of creation to re-signify the way we look at the world. Considering the photography of expanded processes as a way to reflect about and express appreciably questions about the feminine, this work aims to create approximations between the powers of the photographic making and the poetic speech of six female artists, students of the discipline of Laboratory of Photography, that happened in the UFPE, in the first semester of 2017, who set out to think about themselves. As a group, we worked on the photo essay "Antes da Mulher" (2016), of my own, along with studies that helped broaden the references on photography and its subjectivities. This paper reports, in an Artographical methodology, the paths that we find to readjust and to inhabit in a conscious and empowered way our place of speech, while we produced knowledge together in the classroom. From the construction of self-portraits, we use our body coupled to the camera: we became expressive channels of restlessness, and we reconfigurated the look at ourselves and others. As a substance to compose experiences and photographic practices, this dissertation is anchored on the concept of Expanded Photography.
