This work aims to dialogue dance, technique, and emotions, through an ethnography of the creation process of the show at Group Gaya Contemporary Dance/ UFRN, which operates in the city of Natal / RN. I choose to focus on the development of choreographic works that address existential issues (anguish, loneliness, fear, joy) and sensory issues (on the part of the senses: sight, touch, smell, and hearing). Putting emphasis, at this moment, on the choreographic works presented during the pandemic of COVID-19, dialoguing the aesthetic dimension that bases the production of contemporary dance, with the technical proposals for video dance and telematic dance, present in the scenic clippings of Body Isolated, For when summer arrives and Danced Poems II and III, presented through the YouTube platform, on the channels of 72nd SBPC Cultural and Gaya Contemporary Dance. Also enriched by a personal dance practice, this research was born from interpretative and collaborative anthropology. The proximity to the group placed the researcher at the center of the concerns of choreographic creation, sharing the joys and sorrows of the bodies affected by the period established by the pandemic in 2020. As its name suggests, Body Isolated messes with the emotions and imaginary about the sensations of the body forced to isolate itself socially. For when the summer arrives and Poems danced II and III, they narrate the discoveries of the “Self”, in front of the many reflections brought by the moment, under the poetry narration of Clarice Lispector, in the voice, in the eyes, and the gestures of the interpreter-creators da Gaya Contemporary Dance. In this group context, I present the bodies that create, improvise, feel and reflect social issues that inhabit dance gestures in preparation feel and reflect social issues that inhabit the gestures of dance in the preparation of the video dance series Poemas Dançados. The bibliography permeates the anthropology of dance, visual and emotions, drawing a relationship between the anthropologist-dancer and her affectations as a performercreator.
