Resumen
Due to the continues reservoir internal pressure drop, the decrease of oil flow in the wells and the increase of water, the Enhanced Oil Recovery started to be more researched to improve the production after a long period of water injection. Classified as chemical injection, the polymer flooding started to be used to promote the mobility ratio reduction through the increasing the injection fluid viscosity, it means an increasing in the vertical and areal sweep efficiency. However, because of all problems faced during this project as the polymer structure degradation, retention and molecules adsorption in the rock, this injection becomes to be complex and very studied to be apply. Thus, aiming the use of Flopaam 3330S polymer in Berea sandstone, this research shows a rheological and injectivity study using different polymers solutions concentrations as temperatures. The mechanical degradation effect will be observed through the solution viscosity drop, the viscosity loss resulting of CaCl2 and the temperature increase. Also the solution concentration behavior after the injection in the porous media.
