Resumen
It is in order to ensure the production of the well that electronic controllers have been
developed for artificial oil lifting systems. It can be said that more than half of the
industrial controllers in use today employ Proportional Integrative Derivative (PID) or
modified PID control schemes. However, for complex problems, the application of
conventional techniques are usually expensive and depend on mathematical
approximations, such as the linearization of nonlinear problems, which can compromise
the performance of these solutions. Therefore, when dealing with complex models, the
use of fuzzy logic has been chosen, given that the main advantage of using fuzzy logic
is due to its ability to deal with uncertainties, approximate reasoning, vague and
ambiguous terms, which is not possible to do with classical logics. Due to changes in
operating conditions, a system operating by Continuous Gas-Lift (CGL) needs constant
monitoring. That said, the objective of this work is to develop a computational tool that,
in order to increase the production flow, performs the monitoring and control of wells
operating by CGL. This tool incorporates a PI-fuzzy controller and PID controller to
carry out its activity. For validation purposes, a dynamic GLC simulator was used to
assist the program developed in tests performed with field data in computationally
simulated wells. Through the tests carried out, it can be highlighted that the results
obtained for the simulated well 1 met the expectation, considering that there was an
improvement in the flow rate of liquid produced and a reduction in the amount of injected gas.
