Tratamento de água produzida para a geração de vapor utilizado na injeção em poços de petróleo

Abstract

This work proposes a treatment system aimed to the reuse of water produced for steam generation in the tertiary recovery of petroleum. The water produced from oil reservoirs and the main contaminant associated with oil production, always increasing owing to maturation of the deposits and the use of secondary recovery processes. Containing heavy metals, gases, high salinity, oil particles in suspension, waste chemicals production, solids and in some cases, radioactivity, the most potent locally produced water difficult to discard. It is necessary to carry out a preliminary treatment in the water produced by petroleum, aiming to adapt a specification required by the current environmental legislation and aiming to reuse it for the generation of steam in the tertiary recovery of petroleum. From the evaluation of productive waters, as well as terrestrial means of transportation of Rio Grande do Norte, were studied and selected equipment capable of removing the undesirable elements of the water produced for the treatment system in the water for a generation and injection of steam in wells.
