| dc.description.abstract | This paper shows some basic concepts for the study of the definite integral, as well as notions of areas, definite integral and some results. For starters it will be presented the limitation of a function and its properties, and then, the definition of continuous function. In the second moment, the sum and its peculiarities will be explained, which will next be used in the study of irregular regions. Finally, the concept of the Riemann sum and the definite integral will be exposed, a brief summary about Bernhard Riemann, examples using the definite integral and its properties. | |
