Resumen
The collective teaching guitar is a practice that has been adopted increasingly in
Brazil. This work aims to report my experience as a teacher at the Music School Severino
Lamb (EMUSCO), which is located in the city of Natal - RN. This is a project linked to the
municipal schools serving free and is available to anyone, but must focus on children of the
school where the project is realized. It is housed at the Municipal School Ferreira Itajubá. I try
to show the contents that were worked on class as well, repertoire and methods that were
utilized. I talk about my training, experience and how I began my studies on the guitar, first
teachers and how they worked, as well as the influences that bring me to this day. I show the
aspects of the collective teaching guitar and I seek to show the stage this musical modality of
education in our country from a literature review of studies published in (ENECIM's) which
deals with the National Musical Instruments of Collective Education Meeting. I still carry my
contribution through my experience with this type of education demonstrating how the classes
works trying to describe and show how to deal with the difficulties faced.
