Panorama da dança litúrgica em grupos da cidade de Parnamirim: contribuições da educação física para o seu desenvolvimento

Abstract

The idea of doing this Course Completion Work (CCW) arose from my experiences and experiences with the liturgical dance. Thus, I saw the possibility of relating the Liturgical Dance to Physical Education, seeking to insert these dances in the academic field and also enabling the learning of both Physical Education students and those practicing these dances. Thus, this work aims to reflect on the reality of liturgical dance in the church presenting the main characteristics of its development. This is a descriptive qualitative research with interview application. Two dance ministries of the city of Parnamirim-RN were part of the population and its sample consisted of seven people. The results of the interview showed that there is a need for the performance of a professional, whether it be Physical Education or even dance within these dance ministries, a fact evidenced by the statements of the interviewees themselves that see the performance of this or these professionals as essential for both the Part of physical training as well as for the development of other aspects related to these dances, such as its history and its meanings.
