Resumen
This paper is a report of teaching experience of recorder, for people with visual
impairments, in University extension project: "sweet flute course for people with
visual impairments"-offered by the school of music of UFRN. From that project, we
seek to reflect on teaching recorder to visually impaired people and find ways to
adapt methods that are effective in musical and instrumental guidance and training of
these students, and also reflect on the importance of the teaching of Braille
musicography. To this end, it was necessary to better understand the universe of
visual impairment, the causes of blindness and its educational implications and to
substantiate the choice of teaching procedures, the necessary adaptations and the
choice of repertoire. Finally, presents the progress of the students as much social as
musical. In the methodology were used: bibliographical research, semi-structured
interview and action research.
