dc.description.abstractThis research is justified by the relevance to investigate and understand concerns and perceptions of students about the thematic of interculturality and how the curriculum of the courses of pedagogic studies at the UFRN treat this subject in its structure. Furthermore this monography is about the concept of multiculturality and interculturality as defended by Candau with the objective to explain the term polysemi. This highlights the importance for further theoretical deepening and for a pedagogic experience with the objective to put an end to the principles of a monocultural education that denies exsisting cultural differences in the educational field and that views education from an eurocentric standpoint that creates oppression, discrimination and prejudice. In this way the concepts as defended in this research are based on the principles of an intercultural curriculum that allows for a broader view on cultural questions and from a different perspective. In this respect the objective of this monography is: an analysis of the perception of interculturality of students in the classroom, the interpersonal relations and pedagogic pratices in relation to the curriculum of pedagogy in the years 2009 and 2017 at the UFRN. Ultimately because of the complexity of the matter and its inherent contradictions this monography does not pretend to find any final answers to this matter but offers oportunity for reflection and discussion favouring a construction/deconstruction of concepts viewed under the aspect that a dialogic and diversified education takes place in an intercultural enviroment.
