Gestão de custos hospitalares: uma análise bibliométrica das publicações científicas

Abstract

For some years now, people have been taking better care of their health and with that the demand for medical consultations and treatments has been increasing considerably as well. As a result, there was a need to monitor the costs of hospital entities and consequently the search for studies and mechanisms to help control these costs. From that, a bibliometric analysis with a quantitative and qualitative approach was made, to see how the productions and publications are going on in this area on the rise within cost accounting. The results obtained with the research, show that the management of hospital costs is a very important area, however, little studied.
