Resumen
The current study has as objective to evaluate different action ways for independent music individuals in Natal/RN. From an ethnographic research, I have searched to do a description of some musical activities, which have been developed in the downtown, promoting, as well, reflections about to be independent, and arguing the different implications, which can be attributed to the category with different problematic issues. Also, it has been analysed processes that involve a musical digitalisation promoted by the advent of new technologies in the musical ambient, realising, therefore, which effects are inferred about the creation, production, recording, dissemination, distribution and sharing methods about music by using available internet tools, such as social network, streaming and music download services. By the way, recognising how such mechanisms are achieved by the interlocutors, i have described various uses employed by agents of band members, music producers, sound technicians, cultural members and other professionals involved in musical projects. Finally, I have argued about different musical places in the downtown with the goal of constructing a description of some events that clarify the “independent individual” in Natal.
