dc.description.abstract | This study presents an account of an experience with students of Lawrence
Brother Project from the Marist Youth Center in Natal-RN, in order to verify the
benefits acquired by a group practice in the context of a social project. For this
purpose, we took as the object of our research the music classroom and the
teaching team of this project, which was investigated by means of a qualitative
research. As background theory, we collected research already conducted in
this area, for instance, Schafer, Souza Queiroz, and Kater Minayo. We
analyzed the contributions of the attained results to education and training and
socio-cultural moral of the students involved in the project, in order to prove the
effectiveness of this activity, given the existing educational proposals. | |
