Proposta de um manual para a residência de Clínica Médica da Escola Multicampi de Ciências Médicas

Abstract

Introduction: The development of manuals has been occurring frequently, improving and facilitating the work of professionals and multidisciplinary teams, guiding them in the healthdisease and teaching-learning process. In addition, universities, through residency programs, have been providing manuals that guide and instruct residents, facilitate and standardize the guidelines and activities to be developed by them. Objectives: Produce a manual for the Internal Medicine Residency program at the Multicampi School of Medical Sciences of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (EMCM-UFRN), aimed at students and professional staff. Method: We opted for an integrative literature review and document analysis in order to organize, synthesize and gather the results that are published on the Medical Residency Manual as an educational product. Results: Preparation of the Manual for the Internal Medicine Residency at the EMCM-UFRN. Conclusion: It is expected that the contents proposed in the manual can provide guidance and help to students and professional staff of the residency course in internal medical clinic at EMCM-UFRN.
