Resumen
Education is a right of all children and their families, and a duty of the state.
Therefore, the pedagogical work in children's education should be well organized, so that the
relationship between caring, educating and playing in the daily life of institutions occurs. In
this perspective, the present work, characterized as the work of graduating at the Pedagogy
course at UFRN, aims to present how the concept of "education", "caring" and "playing" is
understood by teachers, assistants and fellows who work in a nursery class, checking if the
educational practice is based on these pillars, reflecting on their relationships and
implications. With regard to the methodology, it is a qualitative research, of the case study
type, in a kindergarten school, using as instruments of collection interviews and observations.
Participants included 8 subjects, among them teachers, day care aides and scholarship
students, who worked in the research group. The main theoretical contributions were: Barbosa
(2006-2008); Gonsalves (2003). Kramer (2009-1982); Kishimoto (1996); Oliveira (2011);
National Curriculum Framework for Early Childhood Education, (RCNEI / 1998); Zabala
(1998); We can see that these relations are present for the participants of the research.
However, the way in which the actions of the educational practices are organized is desired in
the sense of the non participation of all the subjects in the different moments of the routine.
We consider this study relevant, because it will reflect on what implications these conceptions
of educating, caring and playing can bring to the educational practice. Understanding,
therefore, the links between the pillars of early childhood education. In this sense, realizing
preponderant reflections of how intensely is taking place the educational actions in the
nursery.
