This research aims to analyse the level of transparency of pieces of information available in the digital platforms (websites) of the Executive Powers at the State and District levels. It was elaborated an evaluation sheet with 20 items related to data that should be made available. The evaluation sheet was applied in the 27 digital platforms (websites) of the State and District Governments in the months of March, April and May 2019. From the results of the evaluation sheet, it was possible to attribute a level of transparency to platforms ranged from 0 to 20, as well as it was possible to establish a ranking of transparency among the platforms of the State and District Governments. The results revealed, on a scale of 0 to 20, that the Government of Goiás-GO obtained level 15, being in the first position, followed by the Government of Amazonas-AM also with level 15. However, due to transparency in pieces of information criteria, the Government of Amazonas-AM came in second place, followed by the Government of Paraná-PR and the Government of São Paulo-SP in the third and fourth positions, respectively. The Governments of Rio de Janeiro-RJ, Ceará-CE and Tocantins-TO were in the last positions. It is concluded that most of the State and District Governments are infringing the legislation dealing with transparency. This research contributes to the advancement of the literature on the transparency of information available in the digital platforms (websites) of public entities, mainly the Executive Powers at the State and District levels. It also contributes to the elaboration of an evaluation indicator with information items that should be available through the digital platforms of the State and District Governments.
