Viabilidade da implantação de energia eólica em condomínios horizontais - estudo de caso: Condomínio residencial Paraíso de Maracajaú/RN

Abstract

The growing consumption of eletric energy around the globe occurring in the past years, combined with the exacerbated degradation of the biomes of the world are relevant concerns to those who worry about the future oF the new generations. By having it in mind, its required to search options to generate energy without compromisse the planet, however it must supply the growing demand of power. Its inside this context in which the search for sustainable sources of energy is, being abolutely significant to reach a full sustainable development. Therefore, this article tries to explore this thematic by the adoption of a wind energy system, comparing three wind turbines, in a horizontal condominium at the north coast of Rio Grande do Norte, one of most serviceable regions in Brazil to generate wind energy. Were evaluated native factors which influence directly in the capability of generate wind energy, like wind speed and direction. Thus, it was possible to compare the production of energy of the three wind turnines under study and measure the economy that would ocour by placing any wind turbine studied. Therefore, it was possible to analyze if the wind turbines were viable by the financial optics by comparing them to the convencional electric system.
