Os estudos feministas da ciência e da tecnologia no Brasil: reflexões sobre estilos e coletivos de pensamento

Abstract

The Feminist Studies of Science and Technology in Brazil constitute a fi eld that has as one of its features to dispersion of publications. In a period of 30 years, we located a hundred of them in more than 50 graduate programs of 24 public universities. This scenario shows an interdisciplinary production: “gender in education, science and technology” and “career” and “researchers trajectories” stand out as theme, setting, however, gaps in the approaches of ethnic and race relations. According to our studies, there are three moments that mark the fi eld toward his (re) cognition: the visibility at the Seminário Internacional Fazendo Gênero; the implementation of the Women and Science Program; and the realization of the VIII Congresso Ibero-Americano de Ciência, Tecnologia e Gênero.We study the process of knowledge production graduate of UFBA, where we fi nd a collective strongly marked by the style of thinking in science education and gender
