ANALISE DE VIABILIDADE ECONOMICA E FINANCEIRA ENTRE UM CAMINHÃO DA CATEGORIA VUC COM MOTOR DIESEL E UM CAMINHÃO COM MOTOR ELETRICO

Abstract

The present work aims to verify the economic feasibility of replacing a truck with a diesel engine by a truck with an electric motor. The present work was based on research in articles and publication from society to society, in addition to the collection of data to enable the completion of the objectives. During the preparation of this work, exploratory research was carried out in order to collect information for the analysis of the financial aspect in order to show, in terms of cost, the importance of the economic viability analysis. For an analysis, fuel expenditure, income, route traveled, cost and profit were taken into account. Through cost analysis, economic feasibility analysis and SWOT matrix analysis, it was found that the electric motor model is not economically viable because there is no infrastructure prepared to receive these models. Although the electric model presents advantages in terms of fuel economy and zero emission of pollutants, the lack of planning on the highways for the implementation of recharge points may not be attractive to entrepreneurs in the transport sector.
