dc.description.abstract | The mathematics plays and curiosities have as focus turn the hardness of the numbers and the requirement of logical reasoning in mathematical joke at the same time useful and recreational. We believe that mathematical games go beyond a mere distraction to break the hardness numbers. They can, and should, be a tool that the teacher can use to call the attention of the learner for certain content that the teacher wishes to transmit. This Latu Sensu postgraduate aims to analyze an article extracted from the Revista do Professor de Matemática (RPM) on the game of Nim, Carlos Alberto V. de Melo authored, entitled “The Game of Nim, a divisive issue”, emphasizing the use of the game as a tool to inculcate in the student the use of mental calculation for solving mathematical problems. | |
