Resumen
Pumping systems are widely applied in industry, where each process has specific characteristics, requiring pumping systems that meet these specifications. Given this wide
application and diversity, the development of models and controllers for these systems
have varied methodologies. In order to study a specific case of a pumping system, we
developed in this work the modeling and control of the B-mesh pump-flow system of the
AUTHOMATHIKA PDH1002 plant. This plant corresponds to a didactic plant, used for
academic purposes and is present in the Laboratory of Petroleum Automation (LAUT)
of UFRN. For the development of the model, it is necessary to observe the behavior of
this system, observing its limitations and nonlinearities. Thus, it was observed that the
system to be identified has nonlinearities, making its representation impossible through a
single transfer function. Thus, the system was subdivided into operating points, so that
the models operate within an approximately linear range, close to an specific operating
point. From these models, controllers that operate within these operating regions were
developed. Finally, the takagi-sugeno method was used to ensure the integration between
the controllers, so that they can operate together without a sudden transition between
them. Obtaining this control is essential for the development of other projects that may
be undertaken at the plant, including projects involving plant identification and control.
